Document Description
The proposed project is located at 300 US-97 in Weed, California and involves the construction of new administrative office over the footprint of an existing development. The building is pre-fabricated structure that readily assembles in a short period of time. The building will be approximately 2000 square feet in size and feature up to six individual office spaces.
A roadside rest area was previously constructed upon this area and has not been utilized since the early 2000's. An existing bathroom facility will be removed during construction activities. Paved areas from the rest area will likely be improved and utilized for parking or for the building foundation itself. Utilities are already in place and a minor amount of trenching will be necessary to plumb water, sewer and power to the new facility.
