The proposed project will include the removal of barriers to accessibility in a 1-story building (Redding State Building 460) to include the parking area, exterior route from the parking area to the primary entrance, the interior common route including the primary entrance and common circulation; building and floor common restrooms, building and floor common drinking fountains, restroom signs and egress signs. The Redding access Barrier Removal Project is a part of the Department of General Services' Access Barrier Removal Program (DGS ABRP), which is a part of the transition plan to improve access to persons with disabilities in DGS owned office buildings.
