Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-0167-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association.
The project is limited to repair and replacement of an existing metal sheet pile bulkhead along three parcels on Garmish Court in the Tahoe Keys. Existing pier access gangways, an asphalt pedestrian access. A new 210 lf of metal sheet pile will be driven into the lakebed immediately in front (lakeward) of the existing failing sheet pile tiebacks placed at 8 inches on center. The tiebacks will be driven into the bank to a depth of 30 ft. Soil will then be excavated from behind the existing bulkhead and the failing bulkhead will be straightened in place and new tiebacks installed. The excavated soil will be replaced using imported, clean 1 inch gravel and capped with at least 4 inches of decomposed granite. Following completion of the bulkhead replacement, the gangways will be replaced.
