The applicant requests that a CUP be granted to authorize the construction, operation and maintenance of a new WCF designed as a 74-tall faux-eucalyptus tree within a proposed 2,700 sf lease area. Minimal ground disturbance is proposed to accommodate the new facility. A total of 10 existing avocado and lemon trees will be removed to accommodate the proposed WCF. Three new lemon trees (i.e. 20 ft at mature height) and three eucalyptus trees are proposed to be planted as landscape screening in front of the WCF lease area to assist with the screening of proposed equipment and the base of the proposed faux eucalyptus tree that is visible from SR 126. The trees will be included within the WCF lease area and maintained throughout the life of the permit by the applicant.
