Document Description
The Carmel Unified School District proposes to acquire an 8.23-acre parcel immediately adjacent to and west of Carmel Middle School for possible use as additional athletic fields. At this time, there is no plan for how or what kinds of athletic fields would be developed, if there would be lighting, whether there would be grandstands or other structures, or who in addition to the students at the middle school would use the fields. As the school district has not yet developed a plan for the project site, subsequent CEQA analysis may be required in order to evaluate environmental impacts specific to the proposed use of the site.
