A new animal services facility including a main animal care building (15,300 sf), approx 60 parking spaces, a 2,200 sf stall/paddock for up to 8 hoofstock, an approx 1.3 acre pasture, and a dog exercise park, landscaping, and storm water detention basins. In addition, the project would include an approx 350-ft long extension of Oklahoma Ave and utility lines, including water, sewer, and natural gas lines, which would run within the road alignment. The project footprint would encompass approx 5 acres of a 33.5 acre parcel and is located at the end of Oklahoma Rd, on the south side of Hwy 1, approx 1,000 ft east of Kansas Ave, at the County Operations Center, west of the city of San Luis Obispo, in the San Luis Obispo planning area.
