Document Description
CAWD proposes to replace an approximately 5,600-foot section of an existing, 8-inch diameter vitrified clay sewer pipeline with a 10-inch high density polyethylene pipeline in Hatton Canyon. The proposed project is required to reduce the risk of sanitary sewer overflow, reduce inflow, and infiltration and simply maintenance. The modifications will only occur within the California Department of State Parks property over which CAWD has legal easement, and as proposed will have no unmitigated impact on the fish, wildlife, or human beings. The incremental modifications contained in the Project will not change the cumulative existing impact of the pipeline on the environment.
