Document Description
The project would demolish the existing surface parking and construct a new office building with approx. 488,000 gsf of office space, max. height of 150-feet, occupancy of approx. 2,000 staff, plus limited parking. Project purpose is to consolidate/upgrade regional State office space. It is anticipated that staff occupying the new office building would be legislative staff, staff from other leased space in the region, and/or from one or more other State-owned buildings slated for eventual renovation/upgrade. In addition, state-owned surface parking on the southwest corner of the block bounded by P, Q, 11th, and 12th Streets would be demolished and a new child care facility would be developed to replace an existing child care facility on the southeast corner of the same block.
