Document Description
The 35.07-acre Project consists of installing turbidity curtains, excavating native soil and rip rap to create a bench, planting vegetation, and replacing rip rap on the water side of levees. Ditches on the land side of levees will be dewatered and relocated, expanded, or filled. The Project will temporarily impact 3.01 acres/10,348 linear feet of stream channel habitat from dewatering, creating the new levee features, redistributing native soil, constructing replacement ditches, replacing rip rap, and planting vegetation in the levee bench. The Project will result in an enhancement of approximately 1.03 acre of stream channel habitat.
