CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0358-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, FTG Construction Materials Inc.
The proposed project is limited to sandbar skimming and recontouring of the existing sandbar. The skimming operation will involve approx. 40 acres of a total parcel consisting of approx. 320 acres. The annual sandbar skimming will remove no more than 100,000 cubic yards of sand annually. No excavation will extend below the mean high water mark of the river, or below the designated excavation limit defined in 1989 as part of the Reclamation Plan.
