Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has issued a major amendment to Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2015-0071-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Fallen Leaf Tree Management.
The project is limited to use of hand tools and manual labor to remove excessive emergency aquatic vegetation from the center twenty feet of the stream channel and other accumulated debris including dead trees, and human rubbish from within the stream channel that is impeding storm water flows within the stream. The amendment authorizes the use of a mini excavator with a masticating head to remove a blackberry thicket, and the use of herbicide to treat any blackberry sprouts following the removal.
