The El Dorado County, Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the California Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration intend to replace the existing Newton Road bridge (25C0033) over South Fork Weber Creek. The new bridge and widened approach roadways would improve roadway safety and be consistent with American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) guidleines.
