Document Description
The San Luis Obispo County Public Works Dept proposes to replace the existing deteriorating and hydraulically inadequate bridge on El Camino Real over Santa Margarita Creek in the community of Santa Margarita, in the Salinas River Sub-Area of the North County Planning area, in central San Luis Obispo county. The proposed replacement bridge will be a cast-in-place, pre-stressed, concrete slab bridge, approx 140 ft long with three unequal spans and a structural depth of 2 ft to clear the hydraulic opening of the creek. Four sets of columns and cast-in-drilled-hole piles under each column extension are required to support the new structure and rock-slope-protection will be placed to stabilize the abutments.
