Document Description
The proposed Aliso Viejo Ranch Project would designate the entire 7 acres as a public park with passive open space, pursuant to Aliso Viejo Municipal Code Table 15.26.020. Proposed within the public park would be a community center, which would include a renovated, existing barn; a proposed barn; an existing bunkhouse; a multi-use gathering area; and a second multi-use gathering area with trees and wood benches. Accessory structures would include a proposed wood shade structures and sheds. The project would also include a working small-scale farm where fruits, nuts and vegetables would be cultivated and sold, and where agricultural-based education programming would take place. A portion of the farm would also include an aquaponics farm.
