Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0066-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Helio A. Fiahlo
1) Placement of a steel sheet pile wall to be driven into the lakebed at the ordinary high water line of the lake.
2) An erosion resistant cobble filled gabion blanket approximately nine feet wide will be placed on the lake side of the wall extending outward from the base of the wall.
3) Large rounded boulders between 3 and 4 feet in diamter will be placed lakeward of the wall as well as to act as wave dissipaters.
4) Native vegetation like willows and white alder will be planted on the lakeside along the length of the sheet pile wall.
5) The lakeward end of the existing pier will be removed including the removal of at least three existing pilings.
6) The damaged/removed section of the pier will be replaced and the pier will then be ectended by approximately 90 feet.
7) one of the mooring buoys and anchors on the lake will be removed.
8) restoration and rehabilitation of native fish spawning habitat present in the project area.
