The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0180-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, California Department of Transportation. The project is limited to repair or replacement of existing culverts, temporary de-watering, vegetation removal, and installation or replacement of existing rock slope protection.

Thirty-eight (38) projects are located along State Routes (SR) 4, 88, 207, 16, and 49 in Alpine and Amador Counties on intermittent and ephemeral tributaries to the Stanislaus, Mokelumne, Cosumnes and American Rivers. The projects extend between post miles 4.96 and 16.66 on SR 4; 3.14 and 4.75 on SR 88; 0 and 1.19 on SR 207 in Alpine County; and extend between post miles 7.81 and 9.32 on SR 16; 16.31 and 17.50 on SR 49 in Amador County. The Alpine County projects are located approximately 96 miles east on SR-4 and approximately 104 miles east on SR 88 from the City of Stockton. The Amador County projects are located approximately 47 miles east on SR 88 thence SR 124 from the city of Stockton.
