Document Description
Proposes the following measure to improve safety within the urban zone: infill sidewalk gaps, widen sidewalks, stripe shoulder, replace driveways and curb ramps to meet current ADA standards, modify crosswalk and pedestrian median island, and add midblock pedestrian crossing. A new crosswalk with flashing warning beacons and a pedestrian bridge over a roadside ditch would be installed at PM 25.6 to provide access from the hotels on the east side of US 101 and the Crescent City Marina. The purpose of this project is to construct traffic calming, operational, and safety improvements to enhance the circulation of non-motorized users.
