Document Description
The proposed project would rehabilitate Whitewater River Bridges (no. 56-004L and 56-004L) located on I-10 between Tipton Road and Kellogg Road about 10 miles west of the City of Palm Springs, at Post Mile 27.69. The project proposes to strenghten existing bridge footings by adding piles, pile caps, and permanent grouted Rock Slope Protection around the existing Whitewater River Bridge Footings. All work will be performed within State of right of way and within the project limits. The project requires Temporary Construction Easements to accomodate construction acess. No additional permanent right of way would be required. All construction will be performed off the I-10 freeway and under the bridge.
