Document Description
The project proposes to demolish two existing commercial buildings and northeastern portion of the existing surface parking in the Westlake Shopping Center, which has over 14 acres of commercial space. The project proposes to construct a new six-story building with up to 180 dwelling units and 34,074 sf of ground-floor retail on the 1.95-acre project site. The building would include two floors of below-grade parking with 260 parking spaces spanning 107,968 sf. The project proposes a GPA to change the LUD from CR and O to CM-U, which allows mixed-use land uses with FAR ranging from 1.0 to 6.0. The project proposes a Planned development zoning amendment to the existing Planned development zone PD-60 to allow residential uses on-site.
