Document Description
The county proposes to replace the existing bridge with a single span, precast, pre-stressed concrete, voided slab bridge. The corresponding roadway improvements will consist of a paved roadway width of 24 ft at the bridge. To transition from the bridge to the existing roadway width, the county will reconstruct approx 275 ft of Dogtown Rd on both sides of the bridge. Demolition of the old bridge and construction of the new bridge and approach road would take approx six months. Overall, project construction activities would occur during the summer/early fall months when water levels are at their lowest.
