The proposed project would replace the existing bridges along East Rio Bonito over Hamilton Slough and Sutter Butte Canal with cast-in-place pre-stressed, post tentioned concrete slab bridge. The Hamilton Slough bridge will be a 50-ft long two span bridge and the Sutter Butte Canal bridge will be a 75-ft single span bridge. The project will also be realigning the roadway, eliminating sharp corners and bringing the roadway to a 35 mph standard.
