Document Description
The project is intended to receive and process organic materials, manage the resulting end-products, and generate electricity on a small scale. The project would rely on a combination of advanced technologies for processing and treating the variety of expected organic materials. It will demonstrate that sources separated food waste can be pre-treated and processed to produce high-quality biogas, which can ultimately be used as a fuel sources for electrical energy generation. The project is proposed at the Goleta Sanitary Water Resource Recovery site in unincorporated Santa Barbara County.
