Document Description
The proposed Modjeska Boxcar Bridge Repairs Project is intended to protect the bridge structure and restore channel flood capacity. The project consists of: the removal of approx 950 cy of accumulated sediments from the streambed under and adjacent to the existing Boxcar Bridge; raising of the Boxcar Bridge approx three ft; placement of engineered riprap in the streambed and approx 600 ft along the banks; replacement of previously stockpiled native sediments over rip rap located in the streambed; and removal and replacement of existing rip rap at the bridge abutment.
