The City of Redding and the California Gold Development Corporation propose a safety and operational improvement project on South Bonnyview Road and the Interstate 5 northbound on-ramp, from postmile R12.1 to PM R12,5, in Redding, CA. The purpose of the project is to improve safety and traffic operations at this busy interchange location. The project includes: vegetation removal; earthwork; drainage modification; on-ramp widening and lengthening; retaining wall construction; as well as signal, lighting, croswalk and curb-ramp improvements. Work will also include paving, striping, sign installation, and vegetation planting.
