Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0049-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Chemours Company FC, LLC, as represented by Steve Shoemaker. The project is part of a larger action involving implementation of a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act corrective action to remedy soil, sediment, and groundwater contamination that resulted from former manufacturing at the site. Project activities authorized by this Agreement cover remediation activities in the Central Slough and Central Slough Channel and includes removal and/or remediation of sediment through mechanical dredging, installation of temporary coffer dams and silt fencing, de-watering, culvert removal, temporary placement of protective mats, and site restoration and re-vegetation.
