Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration - Cuyama Community Services District, Well No. 4 Replacement Project

The project will include drilling a 20-in minimum bore hole approx 850 ft deep and installing an 8-in well casing and screens with appropriate gravel pack. The well will be equipped with a submersible pump approx 300 gallons per minute and a sand separator. The project will include a meter and appurtenances at the well head, less than 100 ft of 8-in waterline, connection to existing waterline, and chain link security fencing. A new electrical panel, a VFD controller, less than 100 ft of buried conduit and wiring, and a replacement emergency generator will also be provided for a complete operating water supply well.
