The Siskiyou County General Plan designates the project site as Woodland Productivity (High Suitability); building Foundation Limitations (Severe Pressure Limitations (Severe Pressure Limitations Soils); Erosion Hazard (High); and Flood Hazard (Zone A). The County zoning designation for the project site is Timberland Preserve.
Document Description
The proposed project would consist of the operation of a water bottling facility on a 22.11 acre parcel (Parcel 1) for the production of artesian spring water at the gravity fed source within the proposed project site. The proposed bottling facility would be approx. 105,000 sq. ft. and consist of two primary components: Finished Product Warehouse (45,000 sf) and Production Area (60,000 sf). The project would include associated on and off-site infrastructure improvements to support the proposed development, such as provision of domestic water, fire flow water, and waste water service.
