Document Description
This purpose of this project is repair and rehabilitate the portion of San Onofre State Beach that burned in the Cristianitos fire that occurred in June 2017. The steepest areas where dozer line was installed as part of the initial tactical response from wildfire agencies will have the soil returned as close to the original grade as possible as well as straw waddle installation and seeding. Carsonite signs will be placed in an effort to curb illegal trail use, and a suite of invasive plants will be treated for consecutive years in order for the native habitat to recover.
