Document Description
DWR and USBR proposes to implement the project to facilitate fish migration and increased Restoration Flow capacity in the Eastside Bypass (EB) as follows: reinforce approx. 2 miles of levee along the EB to improve levee stability and reduce seepage; modify the EB Control Structure, replace the Dan McNamara Road crossing culvert and remove two USFWS weirs in the EB to improve fish passage; and replace an existing non-operational well to provide replacement water supply for the Merced NWR. The project is part of the San Joaquin River Restoration Program. The project would be constructed is proposed for construction in 2010 and 2020.
