Document Description
The State Water resources Control Board as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit. Rush Creek Lodge recently completed construction on new well, new 30-feet tall by 32-feet wide 250,000 gallon steel brown water tank with rock retaining wall, and associated 3/4-inch to 8-inch system piping. Four inch piping connects the new well and 5 existing old wells to the new tank. Submersible well pumps installed in each well send water through the 4-inch lines to the newly constructed storage tank. Recently installed 8-incgh piping also distributes the water from the tank back across the property to the lodge, villas, and staff housing for use. The total permitted flow of the new well is 20 gallons per minute. Construction upgrades to the water system were completed on June 24, 2016. Regulation of the system was under the County until 2010 when it switched to the Department of Public Health, now currently the State Water Board. 5 of the existing wells came from the old water system that was on the property at the time of purchase. The upgraded water system has been reclassified from transient non-community to non-transient non-community. The project will provide for the operation of these existing facilities.
