Document Description
Complete improvements in the Negro Bar Day Use Area of Folsom Lake State recreation Area to provide additional visitor use facilities and improve visitor experiences. Work will: In the negro Bar Day use area: Remove cottonwoods, oaks, and existing stumps as needed for new facilities and amenities; Excavate trenches totaling approx. 18" wide x 24" deep x 1,000" for quick coupler water lines; remove existing comfort station and in approximately the same location, excavate to pour a 20'x20'x8" deep slab with 2' deep concrete footings at the perimeter and construct a new 20'x20' Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) comfort station with four (4) unisex restrooms; Excavate a 40'x40' area approximately 2' deep at perimeter, 8" deep in interior, with four 5'deepx24" square column footings, and install a new 40'x40' CMU storage building; Excavate 10" for a 35'x40' paver surface with 16" perimeter foundation curb for an instruction Area (IA) adjacent to the storage building; Excavate approx. 36" for a 2' high CMU wall located on two sides of the IA; Excavate a trench approx. 18"x36"x100' from comfort station to IA for electrical and water supply lines; Excavate a trench approx. 18"x36"x325' from comfort station to Group Picnic area for electrical line; Install eleven (11) picnic sites featuring one (1) picnic table on a 12'x14'x10" concrete pad with two sites ADA accessible; Install six picnic sites featuring one picnic table under a metal shade structure on 12' x 14' x10" concrete pad with four sites ADA accessible; shade structure footings will be approximately 2'x2'x3' deep; Install one ADA accessible group picnic site featuring six picnic tables on an approx. 45' x 45' decomposed granite pad; Install one group picnic site quad with four picnic tables and a metal shade structure on a 37'x42'x10" concrete pad; shade structure footings to be approximately 2'x2'x3' deep; Excavate a trench 18"x36"x325' to install electrical service from the restroom to the new group picnic site; Install one group picnic site featuring three picnic tables on a 24'x29'10" concrete pad; Install an ADA Accessible group picnic site (group picnic Area A) featuring four picnic table with a metal shade structure on a 40'x45'x10' paver surface with 16" perimeter foundation curb. Shade structure footings will be approximately 2'x2'x3' deep; Install a 5' wide x 10" deep with 16" perimeter foundation curb paved walk from comfort station to picnic sites and buildings; Install site furnishings and features with footings ranging in size from 14'x14"12" deep to 30"x30"x36" deep. BBQ footing will be 6'6"x16'x30" deep; Install layout tables and walls with footings ranging in size from 23"x6'6"x26" deep to 56"x10'8"x26" deep; Install 180 shrubs in 36" wide x 34" deep holes and 70 trees in 5' wide x 24" deep holes; Install a total of 200 linear feet of culvert with cobble outfall - trench depth ranges from 1'6" - 3' wide, 27" deep; In the parking area:/ See additional information on NOE
