Document Description
The Biola CSD intends to construct an extended aeration activated sludge system that will allow the WWTP to produce effluent with a quality that meets existing limits and, if desired, will be suitable for groundwater recharge and/or other beneficial use. Upgrades include modifications/improvements to various ponds, clarifiers, drying beds, mixer units, pumps, pipelines, and related improvements within the WWTP boundaries. Construction is anticipated to start in February 2019 and finish in February 2020. After filing the original Notice of determination, minor changes were made to the project which included the construction and operation of three monitoring wells. The environmental impacts of thoese three wells was analyzed in the addendum.
