Document Description
The Villas at Mission San Luis Rey, a residential care facility for the Elderly, requests City approval of a development Plan and Historic Permit, on an 8.01-acre site within the Mission San Luis Rey grounds in Oceanside, CA. The Villas project proposes an articulated two and three-story building (108,380 sf of building coverage and 242,022 sf of floor area) with a total of 222 senior living units including 92 independent living units, 105 assisted living units, and 25 Alzheimer/memory care units. Common outdoor recreation areas include interpretive landscaped courtyards, pedestrian walkways, gardens, and a pool. The Villas has been designed to address all residents' needs for enriched, intellectual, physical and spiritual wellness. All construction phases (i.e. grading, paving, and construction) to start in Summer 2018 and finish by early 2020.
