Document Description
Install 1 new single alpine style vault toilet at the Taber Nature Trail trailhead in Standish Hickey State Rec Area to provide restroom facilities for park visitors. Work will: excavate an approx. 7'6" x 16' x 5' deep hole and place 12" of course aggregate, compacted in 6" lifts, at the bottom; use a crane to install the pre-fabricated vault and then place the restroom unit atop the vault; adjacent to the new vault toilet, pur an approx. 3' x 2' x 4" thick concrete pad and install predator proof trash and recycling cans; in front of the new vault toilet, cover an area approx. 3' wide by 8' long with 4" of compacted gravel, to allow for a smooth transition from the restroom to parking area; and haul all excavation spoils offsite to a stable storage location.
