Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The City of Mt. Shasta proposes to replace the failing, undersized Tank 1 with a 500,000-gallon tank and install new inlet/outlet piping at Tanks 2and 3 to promote water turnover. The Project will also install Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) control features to the system’s Pressure Reducing Valve station, install approximately 1,000 feet of 12-inch water main in McCloud Avenue, and replace approximately 7,500 feet of undersized water main causing low pressures within the Roseburg water system with 12-inch piping.
