Document Description
Project is located within Sierra Pacific Industrial complex which includes a mill, log decks, an existing detention basin, and administrative offices. Sierra Pacific proposes to create an additional detention basin on-site of 4.34 acres. The setting is heavily vegetated. All vegetation including 608 protected trees and all other trees will be removed to create the basin. A 6" pipe will connect the existing drainage line to the proposed detention basin. Proposed mitigation is 3 to 1 with on-site verification by a third party paid for by Sierra Pacific through the city of Shasta Lake. Mitigation may be reduced if a longer mitigation plan and survival rate is approved.
