Document Description
California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0264-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project Applicant, Goleta West Sanitary District, represented by Mark Nation.
The Project is the abandonment of an existing sewer line that passes through Western Storke Wetlands and its replacement with a new line located
outside of the wetlands and CDFW stream. Approximately 74 cubic yards of soil will be temporarily excavated for filling two manholes and a sewer line within the wetland area. To protect wetland vegetation, access to the manholes will be over plywood or wetland mats laid along the Goleta West Sanitary District easement through the
wetland. The mats will be removed at the end of each day. Construction equipment proposed includes an excavator, a 2-axle flatbed truck, an air compressor, a demolition hammer, a cement truck, a dump truck, and a backhoe.
