The Project involves the placement of rock slope protection along a 34-foot long section of eroded bank of an unnamed tributary to san Luis Creek. The erosion occurred immediately upstream of a box culvert/headwall facility which diverts stormflows southeasterly under State Route 101 at about Post Mile 24.17. The erosion was discovered in February 2017 and temporarily remedied with sand bags and sheet plastic under a Notification of Emergency Work.
