Document Description
This purpose of this project is to reduce fuel along fire roads to maintain adequate access for emergency response vehicles. State Park managed California Conservation Corps (CCC) crews will also be used to reduce fuels along single track trails and fire roads to allow quick egress of the public in the event of a fire as well as serving as a tool for tactical response in the event of a wildfire, ideally reducing the need for future hand lines and/or dozer lines. CCC crews will also reduce fuel along edges of campground facilities (primitive and developed) to reduce potential for ignitions.
