Document Description
The project proposes the replacement of the existing Palo Alto Baylands boardwalk with a new, improved boardwalk along the same alignment of the existing boardwalk. The existing timber boardwalk extends approx 850 ft northeast across the Harriet Mundy Marsh towards the SF Bay from the Interpretive Center and the San Francisquito Creek Trail. The new boardwalk would be five ft in width intermittent viewing platforms and its elevation would be 3.6 to 4.3 ft higher than the existing structure to accommodate projected sea-level rise.
