Document Description
The applicant intends to develop Date Palm Business Park in a total of 8 construction phases, to be completed within 7-10 years. At build-out, the proposed project would provide approx 1.2 million sf of interior floor space. The applicant proposes to develop and utilize up to approx 91% of the building floor area, approx 1,092,000 sf for cannabis cultivation. The remaining 9% of building floor area, approx 108,000 sf. While the applicant's intent is to provide space for a variety of business park opportunities in addition to cannabis-related land uses, at this time, only cannabis cultivation and related uses (processing, manufacturing, etc.) are proposed. Additionally, parcel 5 of the project will be deeded to the Imperial Irrigation District for the development of an electrical substation.
