Document Description
The Cachuma Operations and Maintenance Board water line in Santa Barbara County runs parallel to SR 192 and traverses the Arroyo Parida Creek on the north side of the Arroyo Parida Bridge. The purpose of the project is to locate the Comb water line. The project is needed b/c the COMB water line must be located in order to construct the fish passage in a later phase of the Arroyo Parida Bridge Replacement Project. No ROW is necessary for this project. Work will begin near the bridge and trench excavation will move north away from the bridge. If the pipe is not identified, they refill the hole and then go to the next adjacent area and keep moving upstream until the pipe is located. Max area of excavation will be 6' wide x 6' deep x 45' long with the removal and immediate replacement of creek bed material.
