Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board), as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The West Valley Water District will add 4 granulated activated carbon (GAC) treatment vessels to an already existing treatment plant. The tanks, 21.3 feet tall by 12 foot wide, will be anchored into the concrete next to 6 other existing GAC tanks and connected up to exisitng piping. The new piping, that includes approximately 340.8 feet of 1-inch piping, 340 feet of 2-inch piping, and 95 feet of 10-inch piping, will connect the treatment vessels to the existing influent, effluent, and in and out backwash piping.
