Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control, pursuant to authority granted under, the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, section 66720.61, will issue an Emergency Permit o NAF Bombing Range located in El Centro, California to treat hazardous waste by open detonation.
The items requested to be treated by open denotation are two Dud Fired Sum grenade, one T-10 munition ordinance, one booster and one flare. The items were generated for training purposes from the Naval Air Station, North Island located on the Naval Base Coronado in San Diego, CA. The item have been determined by Explosive Ordinance and Disposal personnel to be an explosive hazard. They are currently being stored in NAS North Island in an Explosive Ordinance and Disposal to be an explosive location.
