Document Description
The city of Galt is proposing to construct a fueling and maintenance facility to serve the transit bus operations for South County Transit on its existing Corporation Yard Annex site. The project includes demolition of existing structures and development of adjacent APN 150-0112-047, requiring a GP amendment and rezoning. The project's proposed on-site improvements include a maintenance building, administrative offices, fueling facility and fuel farm, wash facility, covered parking for transit vehicles, a parking lot, and equipment storage within three Parks Department "yards". Off-site improvements are anticipated to include a new traffic signal and restriping in Elm Ave. at the site's main entrance. The project would be located on a 3.3-acre site at 550 Elm Ave. in the City of Galt, Sacramento County.
