Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0421-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sacramento County Regional Parks. Approx. 88,000 cubic yards (30 acres) of highly invasive Uruguayan water primrose (Ludwigia hexepetala) and its associated biomass would be removed to restore perennial and a seasonal wetland/open-water habitat. All grading, clearing, grubbing, and excavation activities would be conducted when the water body is dry; no dewatering would take place. Upon completion, approx. 110 acres of perennial and seasonal wetland habitat would be restored (30 acres of earthmoving/weed removal and 80 acres of phased herbicidal treatments.
