Document Description
Riverside County proposes to widen Temescal Canyon Road to provide two travel lanes in each direction from south of Dawson Canyon Rd to 0.7 mile northerly to match the four-lane roadway facilities north and south of the project and bring the roadway up to current County design standards. The existing roadway consists of one lane in each direction. The purpose of the project is to relieve congestion along Temescal Canyon Rd and improve safety, which includes an increase in sight distance along Temescal Canyon Rd. The project's purpose will also bring the roadway up to current County design standard for Major Highways.
