Document Description
The RPUD wastewater treatment plant is operating near capacity and discharges are not consistently meeting effluent limits. The WWTP needs expansion and improvement to the treatment process to address deficiencies. The RPUD has obtained Clean Water State Revolving Fund and Proposition 1 funding to prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report, permitting and regulatory compliance documents, and the preliminary design of the expanded facilities.
The proposed project will expand the WWTP to provide a capacity of 0.325 MGD. The selected expansion capacity will be used to design the ultimate WWTP improvements and for the new Waste Discharge Permit flow limit with the RWQCB.
