Document Description
The proposed phased project consists of the construction of a privately owned, public campground which includes a recreational vehicle park/campground on an 18+/- acre portion of a 36+/- acre site. The project includes construction of an RV park/campground with 60 stalls, each with a concrete pad with apron and hook-ups (electric and water); a fenced RV/boat storage area surfaced with all-weather decomposed granite; 2 communal restroom/shower buildings each with its own septic system; a 50-tent campground including a playground, lawn area; and recreational area; and a commercial/retail building. The project will be constructed in 4 phases. Phase 1 includes the RV park/campground and the RV/boat storage area. Phase 2 includes the restroom/shower buildings and associated septic systems. Phase 3 includes the commercial/retail building. Phase 4 includes the construction of the tent campground/recreational area. Construction of Phase 1 and 2 are expected to begin immediately upon approval of the project, whereas construction activities for phase 3 is anticipated to begin within 2 years of project approval and phase 4 is anticipated to begin within 3 years of project approval. The proposed operational hours of the campground is 24-hours, 7-days per week. The commercial/retail store proposes to be open 6:00 am to midnight 7-days per week.
