The San Lorenzo Creek Remediation Project at Oak Creek Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Community consists of remediation of illegal bank modifications with a portion of San Lorenzo Creek adjacent to the Oak Creek Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Community in Castro Valley, CA. The illegal bank modifications were performed by Alt-Care, Inc., the project applicant. The proposed project includes the removal of illegally-placed fill, restoration of the creek bank using biotechnical bank stabilization measures, and modifications to a parking lot located at the top of the San Lorenzo Creek bank to improve management of stormwater runoff.
